This year we’re offering 2 turkey varieties for our members to enjoy; a rare heritage “Bourbon Red” turkey (already sold out!) or a classic white turkey. You can reserve a whole turkey or turkey parts!
You can’t find turkey like ours in the stores! Most turkeys, even those with “humanely raised” or “pasture raised” labels, are raised in crowded factory barns with thousands of turkeys.

Bourbon Reds are a delicious and richly flavored bird, perfect for a special day!
For a heritage breed, these have more breast meat, but less than the classic white breed. The Bourbon Red name came from their area of origin in Bourbon County, Kentucky and for their impressive reddish-brown feathers. They were developed in the late 1800s and remained popular through the 1940s, but their numbers declined with the adoption of the heavier Broad Breasted White turkey and they are now listed as an endangered breed (less than 5,000 breeding birds in the U.S.!). Their numbers are rebounding thanks to farmer efforts and a renewed interest in the health, survivability & flavor of turkeys.

Due to the limited amount of turkeys that we’ll have available, we are asking members to pay a $39 deposit to reserve turkey items. The deposit will apply to your Thanksgiving turkey items when they are delivered.
*Please note that the weights and prices listed are estimates. You will see an accurate weight & price when the turkey is scheduled for delivery.
