When we started TC Farm, we wanted to have our own little hobby farm to raise food for our family. We couldn't find anyone else raising animals without some sort of shortcut... so we decided to just do it all ourselves for our family.
When it turned into a larger group (and we had baby Lauren), it quickly became clear that we'd need a community of farmers, a processor we trusted and even the help of a warehouse crew and professional courier service. Betsy and I simply couldn't make all our own sausages, package and deliver it all ourselves anymore!
This is the first summer where we've felt free to take a vacation like this!
I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to our members for making TC Farm happen and to all of those who are helping make this great food possible for our family and our community.
Also... Thank you for allowing me to (mostly) have a break from emails... I'll work over the next week or so to catch up.
For those of you who are interested, here are some photos. We were visiting our new niece (and her parents).
We were so fortunate to stay at a little cottage on an organic farm in Bend, Oregan. I'd recommend checking it out if you ever want a great place to stay with amazing organic soy free eggs and fresh goat milk, lamb, pork and chicken!
